Longest Concert I've Ever Been To (in a good way)
This amazing concert lasted more than six hours! It began at 5pm with Brandon Lay, then Old Dominion, followed by Thomas Rhett, and lastly, Herbie Hancock. The show concluded at 11:30pm. Our feet were aching from standing in the pit for so long, but it was totally worth it. Brandon Lay served as a solid opener, though his hit "Speakers, Bleachers, and Preachers" was the standout. Old Dominion's performance was fantastic, and I'm looking forward to their separate concert in December. Thomas Rhett delivered an incredible fourteen-song set that captivated the younger audience members. Herbie Hancock presented a delightful blend of old and new tracks, showcasing his diverse discography. It was surprising to see how small he appeared in person! The unexpected appearance of Daniel Lee Murphy for a few songs, including "Everything's Gonna Be Alright," added to the fun. Despite missing Pink for "Setting the World on Fire," the bassist/backup singer did a fantastic job. The choice of encore song was excellent. Overall, this lengthy and star-studded concert was definitely worth the money. I highly recommend it to anyone!
